Unity V3 HAT Case for RPi 5

The Unity V3 HAT case for Raspberry Pi 5 is an evolution of the popular Unity V2 case. This case is made of cast acrylic and we produce it in-house with our laser cutting machine. The case is matte black with a transparent top and offers space for HATs and other expansions.

Where the Unity V2 sometimes falls short in height, which means that many expansions do not fit, the V3 is higher. Extra space has also been made in the front plate so that the N04 NVMe expansion of 52Pi fits without having to remove the front plate. In addition, the included header raises the expansion boards. By using 20 mm spacers between the Pi and the HAT, the Active Cooler (not included) can be installed for better ventilation. Air is drawn in from the side and warm air is blown out through the air vent on the back.

Compatibility HATs and extensions

Most HATs fit in the case without any problems, in some cases the included header should be omitted. Some HATs require a different side plate. We have several different ones in the shop and can also make custom side plates on request.

• The GPIO header cannot be accessed from outside the case
