SuperCAP UPS LTC3350 Module for reComputer R1000

The Seeed Studio SuperCAP UPS Module with LTC3350 is a supercapacitor-based backup power solution designed for the reComputer R1000 series powered by Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4. It ensures safe operation or controlled shutdown in case of sudden power loss.

The integrated LTC3350 controller manages charging and discharging of the supercapacitors, monitors energy balance, and protects connected hardware from voltage surges or drops. An alarm GPIO signal allows the reComputer R1000 to automatically react when external power fails.

Equipped with four 7F supercapacitors (2.7V each, connected in series), the module provides sufficient energy to bridge short power interruptions, preventing data loss and improving reliability in industrial, edge computing, and IoT applications.
