The Raspberry Pi 4 Model B 2GB is the basic version of the Raspberry Pi 4 family. For most applications, 2GB of RAM is more than sufficient, especially if you have a specific application for the Raspberry Pi where little multi-tasking takes place. For standard desktop use such as some web browsing, or if you don't use the desktop environment and only use the CLI (command-line interface), the 2GB Raspberry Pi 4 is more than adequate.
It has a 64-bit quad-core Cortex A-72(ARM v8) processor at 1.5GHz, 4K support on 2 micro HDMI outputs, USB 3.0, dual-band WiFi (2.4GHz & 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0/BLE, 1GB Ethernet and PoE (Power over Ethernet) using a separately available PoE HAT.
The Raspberry Pi 4 is available in the following versions:
The Raspberry Pi 4 uses a USB-C power supply (black or white) and has microHDMI video output (see our cables) Accessories for your old Raspberry Pi you cannot use.
Please use the latest available version of Raspberry Pi OS.
