Panel Current Meter - 0 to 9.99A

Use this current meter to measure the current draw of parts in your project. This meter requires DC voltage to function and has two thick wires to measure the current draw.

A current meter works a little differently than a voltage meter. You can easily mix up the wires. The current meter has two sets of wires, one thin (red and black) and one thick (white and black). The thin wire set is for powering the meter itself and should be 4.5-30VDC. There is a reverse polarity protection on these wires. The thick wires are for in-line current sensing. The black sensing wire is internally connected to the black power wire, so depending on how you plan to use the meter, a separate power circuit may be needed.

The mini trimpotentiometer on the back is for calibration of the current measurement, you would not need to adjust it unless the measurements are incorrect and you have calibration equipment
