Grove - Chainable RGB LED V2.0

Grove - Chainable RGB LED is based on a P9813 chip which is a full-color LED driver. It provides 3 constant-current drivers as well as modulated output of 256 shades of grey. This Grove module is suitable for any colorful LED based projects.

Grove-Chainable RGB LED V2.0 is based on the P9813S14 chip. This chip is a full-color light source driver chip that can provide three constant current drivers and 256 greyscale modulation outputs. It communicates with an MCU using 2-wire transmission (Data and Clock). This 2-wire transmission can be used to cascade additional Grove - Chainable RGB LED modules. The built-in clock regeneration enhances the transmission distance.

The key word of this product is “Chainable”, so how many LEDs can it be chained? By connecting the output grove connector of one LED to the input grove connector of another one, you are able to chain 1024 RGB LEDs at most!
