Solenoids

This small solenoid (electromagnet) can move a short pin back and forth. This particular type works with a voltage of up to 12VDC a has a 5.5mm stroke.

Compact 12V DC solenoid valve for water control. Normally closed, fast switching, 8 mm connection, suitable for irrigation, aquariums and DIY projects.

Simply connect a fluid source to the 3/4" threaded inlet and it will interrupt the flow until 12V is applied to the fast-on connectors on the solenoid.
