The USB/DC/Solar LiPo Charger (Adafruit PID 6091) is a versatile charging board for single-cell LiPo batteries. It allows you to easily power and charge your project from USB‑C or a 5–18 V DC/solar source. The intelligent power path system ensures that your project remains powered continuously — both while charging and while running on battery, with no additional switching required.

A key feature: the board includes 5.1 k pull-up resistors on the USB‑C CC lines, ensuring it is correctly recognized as a standard 5 V device. This prevents accidental requests for higher voltages, keeping your board and battery safe — ideal for use with power banks and USB‑C power supplies.

The maximum charge current is 1 A, adjustable via jumpers. LED indicators provide status feedback on charging, battery level, and faults. A single-cell LiPo battery connects easily via the JST‑PH connector. Compact and powerful, this board is perfect for portable, off-grid, and IoT applications.
