The Kitronik Audio Cable is a convenient solution for outputting sound or music from the BBC micro:bit to headphones or a speaker. One end of the cable features black and red crocodile clips that connect to GND and Pin 0 of the micro:bit. The other end is a 3.5mm TRS (tip, ring, sleeve) stereo jack. This allows direct headphone connection to the micro:bit. To use a speaker, an external amplifier is required, such as a mono amp kit.
